Worth the detour!. Was not expecting a wonderful little sushi place in a small community like Cobourg. I thought I was lost, when I finally arrived at the restaurant! Lol! Very cozy, pretty decoration, service was great. I had the AKA Combo for lunch, was afraid I would get a mix of simple, veggie sushis, but NO I got a delicious variety of very fresh sushi/fish. It was well worth the 20$. I would recommend to anyone visiting the Cobourg/Port Hope area.
Excellent, fresh food. But its not just a great sushi joint. The place is very small and clean. Totally family run from table to kitchen and they are super eager to please. The place can be fairly empty or on weekends fill up quickly with reservations. Be where, as word spreads, and having limited space, a reservation come summer time may be your only way in. Its a must try.
A Gem in Our Town. Sakura Sushi was a delight. Warm attractive and calm environment. Well-prepared flavourful dishes: sushi was fresh and varied, attractive in presentation.Served by a gracious family.Returning to try Korean dishes next time.
AMAZING Sushi !!! Presentation was beautiful, everything was so fresh and The staff is very friendly. Best Sushi in Cobourg hands down. Can’t wait to go back !!!
Love this restaurant. Some of the best sushi I have ever tried. A must try 🙂
