Very Ignorant without realizing.. I was dining with my male partner and his Mother. The female hostess gave us a wee tour of the premises.(I was searching for a facility to hold my 60th birthday celebration)She proceeded to describe the chef as one of ‘those’ as she pretended to have limp wrists!!!!In this day and age!!I was aghast…like a fool I said nothing but gave my head a shake and realized small town Ontario still has a long way to go!Shame.Ron GidgeToronto
Great pub lunch. I had always wanted to try the Mill in Cobourg and had the chance this weekend. I love the old building. We decided to have lunch in the pub as it had a warm atmosphere. The was a good selection on the menu and the staff was very friendly. Lots of big screen tv’s to watch the game. We will have to go back for dinner upstairs soon and try the golf course in the spring.
EW. I am not a picky eater! But we came with a crowd, NOT ONE, person enjoyed what was on their plate. Either dry, served cold, stale. 50% of the table sent there food back, the other 50% were too embarrased. STAY AWAY. we should of left right when we released we were the only people in this restaurant to start with.
