Food is ok, pretty typical Chinese food. Waited almost 90 minutes for a take out order after being told ‘probably 40 to 45 minutes but no guarantees.’ For reasons only known to the Panda gods, staff were also unable to provide any idea of when the order would be ready. That said, it’s decently priced and we’re no longer hungry, so that’s something.

I mean you get what you pay for. Some of my most fond memories as a child involve ordering a combo number 6 whilst playing call of duty. Both game and and food leave you feeling satisfied and distract from the fact that you have no girlfriend…

Lately the worst food ever. I have ordered food from this place many times and it has been going downhill for some time. Just terrible, obviously everything is from frozen, the meat is missing from the meat dishes, but the young woman in front is very nice and polite. The nice ends in the kitchen as that is the place where everything and anything seems to be done to make a bigger and bigger profit at the expense of decent food. Tonight I got chicken wings that were dark brown because obviously the fryer oil hasn’t been changed in a long time. The next trick to screw you over is if you order the vegetable fried rice they will insert three or four huge pieces of broccoli in it so that less rice is used. It is cheap yes but beware of meat dishes with next to no meat and frozen veggies with your lowest quality rice. Terrible.

Treated poorly for reporting missing item. I’ve always enjoyed the food here. It’s basic, solid North American-style Chinese food, and it’s consistently tasty.Unfortunately we drove there yesterday to pick up our order, and got all the way home and unloaded all of our dishes for serving before realizing an important item was missing. We called to say we were driving back to pick it up, and instead of an apology, we got a CALL BACK FROM THE RESTAURANT, telling us the item could not possibly have been overlooked.Let me repeat: They took the time to call us back, to tell us we were mistaken. Instead of assuming that maybe another customer grabbed it by mistake, or it was in fact forgotten, they decided to make us feel like criminals. Or idiots.I ask: WHY would we let our dinner get cold and waste our time and gas money just for what…..for fun? It was awkward, uncomfortable, terrible customer service, and a meal ruiner. A suggestion for future incidents: Apologize. Be kind to your customers. Maybe offer a free item as compensation, or prompt delivery of the missing item, or a coupon for a future meal. Just don’t do what you did. You’ve lost a loyal customer.

Did They Relocate?. 98 Super Panda has opened in Wasaga Beach. Are they still in Collingwood and have opened an additional location or have they relocated. If Lee and others who did not like this restaurant are correct in their reviews perhaps Panda has lost business in Collingwood and have decided to try the Wasaga Beach Market. We have a few Chinese food restaurants in town, none that I would order from unfortunately. We were hoping that 98 Super Panda would be a good restaurant but judging from the reviews it doesn’t look promising.

Used to order from super panda all the time and exclusively UNTIL the takeout we received started becoming inconsistent. Amount in the containers was sometimes full sometimes 3/4 .. we ordered the same dishes every time and the ingredients were inconsistent as well, a dish that used to be mostly meat/ seafood and a variety of different veggies was sadly very little proteins and ALOT of bok choy .. This was also a dish at the top of the cost scale. When I tried to contact the owner by phone, I was told she was out of town( 1st call was on a monday afternoon) there was no manager I could talk to. I left a message with a staff person for the owner to return my call and also why I was calling. I called 3 more times during that week. Owner did not ever return my call. I FINALLY reached her on the Friday . When I explained my dissatisfaction with our meals she never once apologized.. Felt like she was calling me a liar, I was very specific as to the problems with our food and all the owner did was argue with me. I ended up telling her we would never order from them again and hung up. I would think with the new Chinese restaurant in town and the economy closing businesses all the time this woman would of at the very least said she was sorry. She obviously did not care about her regular customers.Dont complain when your doors close too and you cant blame anything or anyone but yourself!
