  I had the most amazing dinner at cabin with my family. Not only is the food amazing and cooked with love, the quality of the ingredients are AMAZING. It really makes all the difference. You can tell when you eat the food here that there is so much attention to sourcing local fresh ingredients. Crab cakes were fresh, delicious and not skimpy on the crab meat! I also had a creamy lobster pasta dish and I have been dreaming about it since. It had a generous amount of beautiful fresh tail and claw meat. Wow. Just writing about it is making me drool. It was truly life changing. I can’t wait to go back. When ingredients are grown with love and then cooked with love it is just magical. Best restaurant in Collingwood!

  We went here on a Saturday night on a date. The food was not that great and we won’t be returning. The service was also just okay – nothing memorable. The biggest issue was the food, which was a mishmash of flavours and items on the plate and ordering from the menu is a bit of a mystery. I had the ribs – the meat was fine, the rest of the plate was a hot mess. I found the lighting a bit off, as no lights were directly over the tables which affected the mood of the restaurant and how the food looked. There was also a loud hissing sound constantly from the bar area which was an annoying background noise.Hopefully their new location is better for them.

  Completely agree with a previous review. best meal in collingwood. the food is as local as possible, prepared with care, clean tastes and about the ingredients but with skill. the service is charming. a relaxed, careful restaurant in what is a bit of desert of good food and kind service. bravo cabin

  Really Enjoyed Cabin. Cabin is our new favourite in Collingwood. After three visits, every time better than the last. And the first time was terrific by the way. Our most recent visit about a month ago was lovely. It was a quiet Friday night, the music was just right, our servers friendly (although they were slightly perplexed when we asked for a different table. We love the open kitchen but the light was awfully bright at a table directly in front. We were looking for an intimate evening!). All the food is fantastic and artfully presented. We’ll be back. It’s by far the best Collingwood has to offer.
