Local diner, and this is my favourite place :). Duncan’s is without question my favourite place in Collingwood for a quality meal. I have never had a bad experience there, and I’ve been a number of times. My favourite dishes include the Chicken and Leek Crepe (creamy, light, delectable), the Mushroom Ravioli (rich, creamy, flavour loaded), and absolutely all the soups! My favourite soup is the mulligatawny, a creamy curry chicken and vegetable soup that will make your mouth water for hours! The stilton is also a must try! Finish lunch/dinner with a chai latte, brilliantly flavorful here (and sweet)!26 Aug, 2014Chicken and Leek Crepe. Exceptional creamy leek sauce over a perfectly cooked crepe; filled with chicken!

High Hopes. They tried but fell short.. We also had read very good reviews of this restaurant and were very hopeful for a good experience. Unfortunately this was not exactly the case. The restaurant has a great ambience with interesting art on its walls. Our party ordered the turkey burger, which was extremely well done and practically if not completely inedible, the leek potato and Stilton soup which was tasty but heavily salted, and the quesadilla which was relatively tasty but again a resulting and quite spicy. The lasagna and the rice rolls were quite good. Overall this place merits a try.

Boo. So-so food, falafel was $13 i think, and not even close to the 2 for $2.99 falafels at ali baba. Decent atmosphere but nothing special on the menu that’s for sure.

Based on all the amazing reviews, we were so excited to try this place. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. We ordered the turkey burger which had a stale bun and tasted freezer burned ($14!) and the salmon wrap which was just OK. We will not return.

Best dinning experience in Collingwood. My wife and I were plagued with sub par dinning experiences while in Collingwood this past weekend. We stopped into Duncan’s on Saturday evening for dessert. We were informed the desserts were not made in house, yet they were still very enjoyable. The service was fantastic and it really turned our weekend around to a more positive experience. The atmosphere is great, clean but with a rustic, grit style atmosphere. Loved the look of the bar and the art on the walls. We will be returning to Duncans again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND DUNCANS CAFE.. I love the food at duncans cafe…it is the best restaurant in Collingwood. Everything is home made, fresh and delicious. I read the other gentlemen’s review stating it was dirty, that is hilarious, the walls are antiqued with stain to enhance the concrete wall….called antiquing sir…The prices are very good, for the product that you receive. They have something for everyone on their menu(s). HIGHLY RECOMMEND DUNCAN’S CAFE IN COLLINGWOOD. P.s the floors are rustic concrete, but always very clean. i think that dude was just having a bad day and had to blame it on someone…lol

Never go here. We went to Duncan’s for breakfast and the food taste horrible and the prices were outrages. I ordered French toast and it had no flavor and the maple syrup tasted like crap.we also had a side or sausage and it showed up and it was 3 sausages and it was $3.00 that is rediculious . Also the restaurant was so dirty, it was just filthy everywhere, on the floor, on the walls ,yuk.DON’T GO TO DUNCAN’S CAFE!!!!!
