Do not waste your time or money. The one waitress is always rude and a few others have their moments why be in the industry if you can't make a custom…

Terrible Food, location, service…. I am not sure why this restaurant is rated so high by people. I think the people who own or work there must be doing all the rating because this restaurant is terrible! The food is terrible, the location is terrible, the service is terrible! Don’t waste your time or money.
Must try!. Pasta ala Massa.
Excellent!!! I had the beef short rib and the wife had chicken supreme with house made gnocchi. It was a Monday so the head chef wasn’t working, so even the prep cooks did a great job. Service was great. Highly recommend
We ate dinner at Tesoro on a Tuesday night and it seemed to be a popular place to dine. I had the towering lasagna (have uploaded a picture) – delicious! And my husband had the mussels in wine sauce (I think it was an appetizer, but was enough for a full meal, considering we were brought basket after basket of fresh bread as well!). We had a selection of cheeses after the meal, and they were delicious and well presented with crackers, nuts, dried fruit and apples – also uploaded a pic. The food was fantastic, atmosphere was cozy, and we will definitely return.
We live in Toronto but have a home in Thornbury. Tesoro is my familly’s favourite restaurant in the area. We have been many times and it always delivers delicious simple homemade tasting Italian food. Reservations are definitely recommended on the weekend as it is a popular restaurant.
Tesoro Rocks!. My family has a place in Wasaga Beach and I always look forward to taking a drive (15mins) over to Collingwood to browse around in the historic little downtown area. This time I found a little restaurant with great ambiance and terrific food! The outside patio and bar was a blast! I will be back!!! Thanks Tesoro!
When we arrived, we were asked if we had reservations, and we did not. I would have happily gone somewhere else as there are at least 5 restaurants within walking distance. But the hostess said she would put us at the bar and have a table for us in 30 mins. The restaurant was only at 50-60% capacity. Plenty of empty tables. So then after 40mins she said sorry it will be 90 more minutes. And acted irritated we were there. I’m like come on we would have gone somewhere else if you said that from the start. All the sudden a table (one of many empty) was miraculously available but snarky about giving it. The whole dinner took 3.5 hours to get in and out. Pizza was burnt and hard. Seafood pasta had 4 shrimp and no sauce of any kind on it. I had to put oil from the table on it. Water glass tiny and refilled it once in 3.5 hours. Then the waitress miscalculated and kept an extra $10 for herself. Threw 2 fives back at us and refused to realize 95-78=17 not 7. It was hot and multiple staff were grouchy and rude working in the heat and tiny overcrowded kitchen. I have brought numerous clients and business meetings here over the years of being a local. I am actually distressed by how bad and rude the service was. I won’t be back ever again.
