The nostalgic decor set the stage for a lovely French-inspired brunch. The Baked Artichoke Trempette (fondue-like) was delicious! And mmm, the eggs benny! Loved how instead of an English muffin, the perfectly poached eggs and Canadian bacon sat on top of a bed of crispy potato roesti. The Arugula Salad was also nicely prepared. Service was attentive. Brunch was on point!!
Super awesome (hipster code for good). Nice artsy place, nice staff and great food. Made a small error on our dish but nothing big, however without any prompt we were offered desert on the house. Steak was cooked well, chicken was delish. To return for sure.

The bistro decor was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our wedding anniversary, relaxed and casual. It was a Sunday evening and the restaurant was not very busy. We were taken a little off guard when we were told to sit anywhere we wanted even though we had a reservation. We started with the arugula salad that came with out any dressing and my companion had the lollipop lamb chops (3) which were delicious but pricey at $19.00. For our entree I had the crispy skin salmon on a bed of white rice and my companion had the roast chicken with mushroom orzo and asparagus spears. I had one glass of white wine, no dessert or coffee. The cheque without tip was $100. Overall a delicious dinner without cloth napkins.
Relaxed and pleasant experience. My wife and I ate here this past weekend. She ordered the duck confit with parsnip puree, I had the steak, which I typically avoid when dinning out. The steak was relatively good, a little over cooked but good flavor. The Garlic mashed potato and green beans that accompanied the steak were bland, but the plate presentation was respectable. My wife’s duck confit (thigh and leg) went well with the puree. The puree was probably the best thing on the plate. The dessert menu consisted of a flourless chocolate torte, and ice cream with house made caramel sauce. We were lucky enough to get 1 of the 5 pieces of chocolate torte they had. The torte was decent and the caramel sauce was gorse. The atmosphere was great, very fitting of the location and beautiful big windows allowing plenty of natural light. It was a pleasant dinning experience overall with good service and atmosphere.
Something for Everyone. It’s a small but diverse menu. Typical steak (although its one of the best I’ve had), chicken and veggie dishes that will suit the unadventurous, but also out there creations by the chef that will remind you palate of what fine dining is about. Great use of local and seasonal foods.
Wonderful place. Our party of four visited this lovely restaurant on the weekend. The food and service was fabulous. The seared scallops appetizer was delicious, but it was the short ribs that is the reason to go back. The decor was pleasing, along with having Rob as an attentive and charming server. We will certainly visit this restaurant again. Thank you.
