They overcharge so please beware! Always ask for a receipt, and if they don’t like your receipt request, don’t feel obligated to pay for their food! They are money hungry!
For authentic kosher deli in Toronto, Jacobs Deli is the hands down winner. And that’s not just because they are the only one left standing. The meat is always tender and very flavourful, they have the real old-school schmaltzy juicy pastrami, rye bread is always fresh, house mustards are spot-on. And they have the most classic Jewish deli drink, Cott’s Cream Soda to go along with it! This is the real deal!
Delicious food, quick service, and one of the best prices for kosher food in the city. Jacobs Deli is my new go to for take-out in Thornhill.
