My friends and I were passing through this area and just happen to find this place – and I’m glad we did! The shawarma was really really good. All the individual ingredients were fresh and the serving size was enormous for the price. On top of everything, the service was fantastic.
BEST SHAWARMA in the GTA! Pita Golden Pocket is a family run establishment. All of their sauces are made on site and the chicken is always juicy and delicious. For $9 after taxes, you get a chicken shawarma that seemingly weighs over a pound. Their hot sauce, and mango sauce are both amazing. I’d recommend it to anyone that’s looking for a meaty meal.

They are open from 11 to 7 weekdays only. They are closed weekends. They have been open 8 years, and never spent a dollar on advertising. Best schwarma in Toronto/Vaughan
Heard great things about this pace from all my friends so I decided to go. Absolutely great service and atmosphere, the man who served us (Who I assume is the owner) spoke to us as if we were family. The food was great, easily the best schwarma I’ve had so far and the portions are huge. Owner spoke with me saying how he never advertises for the place because he knows the customers will come back, which is true in my case. Highly recommend!
