2017/10/07We were in the mood for Thai food this evening, and SWMBO recalled that we had passed the Thai Room earlier, so thats where we went. The restaurant was about half full when we got there, so we were promptly seated at a booth. We started outback with their Thai Hot & Sour Soup with Chicken. Both hot and sour, each spoonful left a pleasant afterburn on the palette. By the time we finished the soup, both of us had a little bit of a glow. Then we went family style with two dishes. The first was the Signature Pad Thai (chicken & shrimp). The dish was a fairly large plateful of noodles, tofu, and chicken. There were only three shrimp (with tail) mixed in with the dish. Flavours were typical Pad Thai and good. The second dish was the Thai Beef Steak, with thinly sliced beef in soya sauce, sweet peppers and onions. Although a couple pieces of beef were a little bit chewy, overall it was a nice dish. Service was polite, and the food arrived in a timely manner.

I nearly threw up and IMMEDIATELY lost my appetite. I was so disgusted, because not only did I find a STRAND OF HAIR IN MY FOOD, I also paid $15.00 for contaminated food, that, quite frankly, didn’t taste all that either. Never going again. DO NOT EAT FROM THIS RESTAURANT, EVER!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.
I ordered pad thai and tom yum. Left both dishes unfinished. Pad thai was dry and lacking in its tamerin and fish sauce flavour, and tomyum soup was ..a soup with shrimp. Flavourless…
Got delivery from this place. Never actually ate inside. The place was recommended by a coworker because she got a Golden Curry and Eggplant and she loved it. She also mentioned that the delivery was on time. I ordered the Red Curry Vegetables which came with steamed rice. It was delicious. I ordered it extra spicy and still laced it in Sri Racha sauce. Would get it again. She was right, the delivery was on time. Another one of my coworkers for the Vegetarian Pad Thai and loved it. If you’re looking for cheap, tasty Thai food, this is a good choice.
This restaurant recently opened on Steeles and Dufferin. It’s a reasonably small restaurant with very nice decor and a clean and comfortable atmosphere. There menu is extensive and so far everything we have tried is really good. Three dishes of note were the Chilli Chicken, Basil Chicken and Pad Thai. They also deliver in the area, so we’ve enjoyed takeout from them too. This could easily become one of my favourite restaurants in the area.
