Chicken is dry but they have the best in house sauce that’s now sold in Loblaws. Rice, potatoes is good! Fish is also great! Just a bit expensive compared to the food around the area! But overall it’s good food
Came here for Christmas Day. Thank God they were open. I called a day in advance to pre-book for that and they were open until about 6 the day of. I got chicken, potatoes, rice and veggies for the whole fam. I also got their secret sauce. The veggies were awesome and delicious. The potatoes were good especially the ones with a little bit of a burn on them. The rice however to me was a tad disappointing as I found it way too bland and flavourless. The chicken was good though. And my dad really liked the secret sauce. To me, it was ok. Amazing service
Great place, prices were fair. The food was pretty good and the hot sauce. Service was quick, the place looked clean, I’d definitely go back again and as you can see in the picture huge portions.
This is one of my favourite places to get chicken take out. The family special for $20 is the best value (1 whole chicken, medium potatoes and medium rice) and their piri piri sauce is off the charts. They sell it by the bottle so pick some up while you are there. You wont regret it. The weekends can get really busy and they sometimes run of food and you have to wait a bit but still worth it.
Poor food & customer service. Visiting the city on business & asked where i could find good portuguese chicken. We checked this place out last sunday for lunch. 1st off, the waitress has to be the most miserable person i’ve met in a while. I believe there was grunting involved at some point. We started with the garlic clams, they looked great but i think all of the oceans salt was used in them. Overly salted. 2 of us had the 1/2 chicken & 1 had the steak. Ordered the steak medium rare & was served well done. Not a trace of red let alone pink. When we brought it to the grumpy waitress’s attention she just basically shrugged as if nothing she can do. The chicken was dry except for the thigh. All other pieces with dried out. Chicken was served with an abundance of potatoes. Suggestion, 1/2 potatoes & 1/2 salad or rice would be much more suitable. Anyways, would never go back.
The chicken without breast meat !!. THE BEST CHICKEN IN ONTARIO, WHAT A JOKE. Don’t be surprised when you order takeout whole chicken to find no breast meat. The cheerful lady, HA,HA, Is cutting chicken and taking cash at the same time. NEVER AGAIN!!
Love love love the grilled chicken. Next time I will order spicy 🙂 I plan to order some more more future potluck gathering.
