After reading all the reviews we decided to try the Shawarma here and I am not surprised why they are rated so high .. the meat is succulent and the sauces inside a great with a mix of pickled salad , the quantity and stuffing is just right and hot sauce is Yum.. our server was very kind and offered a table in the restaurant even on a busy night while we waited for our take out . This will def be our go to place for Shawarma next time !
Our favourite middle eastern restaurant! The kafta kebabs, shish tawook, hummus, and falafel are all awesome! Make sure to use their hot sauce too! So good!
Just about OK. My wife and I went to try out the lunch buffet on December 10th, 2013. The Buffet was priced at about $ 9.50 + tax, and had only two items besides salad and rice. The items were peas with potatoes and aubergine. There was also some OK soup and some cold pita bread with pita chips. We both found the price rather high, considering that it was just a vegan salad bar.To supplement, we did order one skewer of extra chicken kebab ($ 3.65 + tax), however, this was nothing special at all.Another thing we noticed was that the restaurant was very cold!Overall an OK experience, and we would not visit again. Please note that we visited this restaurant based on the reviewes that we’d read, but in all honesty, we don’t believe that the positive reviews we read were written by actual customers.
I love this place so much. Family owned and operated. Been in business for a long time, and for good reason. The chicken shawarma is all white meat, and the beef is top quality. The portions are amazing. The ambiance is great, and the restaurant is always clean. I could go on forever. Highly recommended!!
Pretty Good.. We decided to visit this restaurant based on the reviews that were written on here. I called beforehand to inquire about the vegetarian and meat options. I was told that if you wish to have only vegetarian food, you can eat at the buffet for $11.95. If you wished to have meat, you could order the meat separately or you could order the meat as an addition to the buffet. When we got to the restaurant, we were seated at a table near the window. The place itself was nicely decorated, simple yet sophisticated. Our server (whose name I can’t remember) was very kind and friendly; she answered all of our questions with confidence and kindness. We settled on a few different dishes; we ordered the shish kabab, tarboosh, mixed grille, and kafta kabob. The meals took about 12-15 minutes to prepare. When they arrived, we were surprised at how much food we were given. Each dish came with two side orders; with the option of hummus, french fries, rice, salad, or tabbuli. I chose the rice and hummus, which were delicious. Just a few comments we had about the food. The chicken shawarma was very dry; possibly adding some more flavouring during cooking while decrease this. Also, the pita bread wasn’t warm and crispy, this would definitely make the pita when dipped into the hummus, taste much better. Also, there wasn’t enough tahini sauce given to us when we ordered our meals; possibly providing the customers with more tahini sauce would be best to minimize the dryness of the meat. All in all, the place was clean and the food was pretty good. For four of us, it came out to about $70, which wasn’t too bad considering the amount of food we were given. I would recommend this place for the future but I’m not sure I would come back as I like to explore other places.
Buffet is $12 for vegetarian (salads, hummus, rice, pita, soup, beans, etc) and then you can purchase additional foods, like meats for ad-ons. Kebabs are $3.65 each, so it adds up if you want a selection of meats for your meal. Lamb and chicken kebabs are delicious. Family friendly location. Free parking around the back.
Love it!!! You can taste the freshness in their food. I love their tabbouleh, everything is made fresh. Prices are great. You must try!
