Food didn’t taste fresh.. As for appetizers – Kimchi wasn’t spicy enough and didn’t have that crisp taste. Pickled radish and carrot were fine. Seaweed didn’t taste fresh. As for entrees – Ordered the chicken wing combo, comes with a Coke and a salad and the LA Kalbi. Both dishes took a while to arrive. Only about 3 other tables sitting, who have already received their food. Our wings only went into the fryer about 15 minutes after we ordered them which kind of confused me because the restaurant was not busy. I love Asian style fried chicken, but these chicken wings were 90% batter and very bland. I felt like asking for ketchup and I had to start convincing myself that they were good. The salad that it came along with was shredded, wilted cabbage and a dressing similar to Thousand Islands.Short ribs are different at every Korean restaurant, but this one lands at the bottom of the list that we’ve tried so far. It was tougher than what I’m used to and the marinade was just alright, didn’t really like the sauce on the ribs.Maybe we just didn’t order the right things… Maybe their other dishes are better, but we won’t be back.

I’d been going to Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu for a while and I thought I’d try WOW to compare and it doesn’t even come close. The broth was very salty an fishy tasting. The place is also kind of shabby. The prices are about the same so I was largely unimpressed. The staff are pleasant and it’s very quiet but the food isn’t great. I wouldn’t visit again.

Delicious!. My partner and I had dinner at this place last night. The Kimchi jjigae was very good, nice and spicy! And the 4 side dishes didn’t disappoint. Friendly service and great prices 🙂 we’ll definately be back!

This is the best Korean food in Mississauga, IMHO. Their soups are great and made from a base stock that they prepare every night. This place has the best I’ve ever had! They make everything fresh with no MSG. This is homestyle Korean cooking. Not a flashy place, but the food and service is great! If you like Korean food, do yourself a favour and give WOW a try.
