I’ve been to the St Martha’s Brasserie several times now. Each time was a pleasant experience. The service is always great and the food is very delicious! Highly recommend this little gem in Orleans.

The Mousse de chevre for $13 was delicious and worth every penny. Great service, nice atmosphere. The rest of the menu seems a bit pricey but if the rest of the menu is like the Mousse de chevre, then I’m sure the food will be awesome. Oddly enough for a Brasserie, it only had four beers on tap. We plan to go back.

EDITED REVIEWWent yesterday, was seated in reasonable time, waited more than 25 minutes to have our order taken, we then leftBad bad serviceLet me say that this is a very good new place to discover in OrleansPros:Great service , very creative chef and the best salmon tartare ever. Good service and great atmosphere.Cons:We wanted a ros wine last night and the only one they had on the menu was local and from Navan, next to Orleans. The wine according to my French friends was very bad. We would have expected more than one choice.I have been to many French bistros all over the world and North America and they all have Steak tartare. They really should include steak tartare dish on the menu in order to complete the total French experience.Very noisy also.Overall good experience

Went there for a birthday lunch a year ago. Started with steamed mussels served with a white wine cream sauce, Pernod and bacon, garnished with fennel and roasted garlic, served with a side of hand-cut frites with a garlic aioli, followed by confit de canard glazed with honey and apricot sauce, and served with roasted vegetables and a crispy corn polenta. Surpassed expectations. franklin-on-food.blogspot.com

Absolute best restaurant I’ve ever been to!. I’ve been to many restaurants, even michelin star ones, but never have I got food better than the food served here! Every time I’ve gone to St. Martha’s, the food has always been amazing, perfect flavours and combinations, as well as beautiful plating! They even make common foods such as pizza and poutine unique, with fresh ingredients and chef made sauces! Aside from the food, the service has always been excellent and quick, and the servers are always kind and making jokes. If you go, I recommend askimg to be seated at the chef’s counter. Not only is it fascinating to watch them work, but the chefs will also talk to you and answer any questions you might have!

Went for brunch. Called before and asked if they were serving brunch, gentleman said yes until 2pm, did we have a reservation and we are quite busy at the moment. We waited about half an hour before going over and there were people at two tables, the rest of the place was empty! I asked again if they served brunch and he said yes, but not buffet style. We sat at a table and were handed a menu. The word brunch was on both sides which offered breakfast dishes on one side and supper like meals on the other, no brunch. We had to pay for our coffees and no desserts were offered. Both my husband and I opted for two eggs and choice of bacon, ham or sausage, we both wanted sausage and there was only one serving of sausage left. It was 11am on Sunday, Food was alright, but the word brunch really disappointed me, my plate sat empty in front of me for twenty minutes, more coffee was offered, when we were getting up to leave. I felt suckered into thinking I would be getting a brunch and that is why I was going there. Clearly, they were offering breakfast or lunch and nothing more.
