We want this place to be great for the sake of the East End! Have been 7 or 8 times. Most recent service was good, atmosphere is always pleasant. Menu short but good. although missed the lamb shanks on last visit Chef tends to go heavy on the salt – last coq au vin spoiled by this. You can say it is a matter of taste although diner can always add salt, but not take it out. Desserts over-priced. Wine selections reasonable for bistrot fare.

The food is ok. I’ve never been overly impressed. The service was terrible on our last visit. The server was an older man who gave the impression that he had better things to do. Wasn’t friendly, took his time bringing drinks and cutlery. I won’t go back.
