Great prices and food!. Usually we stick to the pho when we go to Viet restaurants but today we got Lemon grass chicken ($12~ with tip?)! the Manager lady was a bit scary but besides that everything else was great! My friend and I got a XL Pho (he could barely finish and he usually eats ALOT) and i got the lemon grass chicken, they even let me switch the rice for more salad and has great selection!Ask for more options in exchange parts of your order (healthier choices available if you want) The service was great too, some people looked like they were a bit new to bringing food but i was suprised when i saw someone bring 4 bowls of Pho out at once 😐 Mad skills to that guy
Unprofessional and unsanitary. My boyfriend and I love Ben Thanh, we normally dine at the Waterloo location. However, the last two times we have been to the Kitchener location we have had terrible service not to mention a soggy, disgusting piece of paper towel in our food. The first time we ordered a dish with shrimp and they brought us chicken. When we politely said we did not order chicken the server made us feel as if we did. She did not apologize and we had to wait another 10 minutes before a new dish came out while the other one got cold. We paid the full amount for our bill and received no apology. Our second experience was worse. My boyfriend ordered the curry dish and when he bit into what was supposed to be chicken he pulled a soggy piece of paper towel out of his mouth. We showed it to our server, she apologized and said she would show it to her manager and bring us a new dish. We received our new dish (paper towel free) but the manager never came to our table. We expected that our meal or at least our appetizers would be gratis. We received our bill with the full amount of two appetizers and two meals. We spoke to our server and told her that he not only found a dirty piece of paper towel in his food but he bit into it. She said she would get her manager and see what she could do. When she returned she handed us a new bill with 25% off (7.20) which was not even the full price of one of our meals. The manager did not come to our table or apologize or simply do anything except for write off 25% of our bill. It was by far the most unprofessional, unsanitary experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. I think well just stick to the Waterloo location.
Beautiful. This restaurant is beautiful and all the dishes are delicious except i like pho 95s pho soup better. Other than that good restaurant, great prices, friendly service.
Good value, but inconsistent.. I’ve been here many times with a group of friends. Some times the food is really good and the service is quick. Other times, it has been slow and food a little stale – but the one thing for sure is that it is priced very reasonably and all the locations are well decorated.I’ll be back!
Pho. #102, rare beef pho.I love it. Keep making it. I will keep buying it. I will keep eating it. Thank you!
Meh! It’s ok! Nothing really special about it, either than interiorly it’s modern. It’s too dim lite, could barely see my food. Only thing I usually get is the mango shake, spring rolls, and chicken and potato yellow curry soup with a side of sticky rice. Everything else, not impressed.
Love the soup. They make the best Satay soup that I’ve been able to find hands down. Also their vermicelli bowls are tough to beat. I’m not crazy about the Kitchener location’s decor, I kind of like the Diner style with the order sheet motif in Waterloo and Cambridge, but it’s OK for a change once in a while and they have the same great food.
