Food is good but Rosa is not a Waitress!. The food is quite tasty but Rosa was our waitress. I have never felt so rushed during a restaurant visit – any restaurant. There’s no chatting for a few minutes over a cocktail before choosing your food. She hounds you until you order. As soon as you are finished, the plates are whipped away and if you don’t order dessert, the bill is immediately presented yo you. Here’s your hat, what’s your hurry?! We’ve eaten here before and had excellent service from the other waitresses. They are friendly and don’t rush you. Rosa, you are an owner, not a waitress. Let the waitresses do their job and you do whatever an owner does.

Not impressed. Recently had dinner at Ennio’s and was definitely not impressed. The service was horrible. Our server (an older woman), barely said a word to us the entire time. She seemed impatient and unhappy to be serving us, didn’t once check on us to see if the food was ok, and didn’t even ask us if we wanted dessert. I also found some of the prices to be be a bit out of place for the food offered. $17.00 as a base price for pasta and sauce without any meat? I would much rather grab some fresh pasta and sauce from Vincenzo’s in Waterloo or go to del Dante’s for my Italian fix. From reading the reviews I can see many people like this place, but personally i wouldn’t go back.

This is a hidden gem. It looks like just a pizza house from the outside. But stop here. It is sooooo good. We had the sausage appetIzer which was a meal by itself. The chicken Parmesana was homemade and more than anyone can eat. If you want real Italian food. Come here

Yummy yummy authentic not like east side Mario’s and way better service. The atmosphere is great, clean building and the good portions are huge.

Ennios Over The Years. We first visited Ennios when it was a small restaurant with a hold in the wall side room over on Lorraine Avenue. A place we still miss. Today they have a lot more room but still many of the same great people and the same fresh and flavourful Italian food. We are grateful that they offer a Gluten free pasta and wonder when the Gluten free bread or Pizza will appear on the menu.

Delicious, unpretentious, yet classy enough !. I was one of Ennio’s first customers in the 1980s when the original restaurant opened on Lorraine Avenue in Kitchener. It was then, and still is, one of the best Italian eateries in town. The restaurant is now part of a large plaza near Fairview Park Mall, and it has lost some of its original coziness. The thin crust pizza is still the best choice. When we went just before Christmas, this year, the owner’s daughter told us that the mushroom pizza we had just selected from the menu had been her own creation and that she was very proud of it. So that’s the kind of place. Great food, unpretentious, efficient, yet classy enough for a special invitation. The pasta carbonara is fantastic (although certainly not good for your sodium levels). Worth a visit for sure.
