Perfect after a great paintball game. I got to try Moose’s after Shoreline’s The One paintball game at Flag Raiders. It’s the perfect place for a filling meal after a hard day’s work. I had garlic bread as an appetizer and the buffalo chicken fingers as my entree. Will definitely be coming back!
Meh. So My wife and I went here tonight, The hostess was very friendly. I ordered Chicken Gumbo soup as an appetizer, It was quite good. I had the Brooklyn Pizza which was also good. My wife had 1/2 Rack of ribs that were very Fatty and tasted like Kraft BBQ sauce had been painted on Fries that tasted as if they spent a day under a heat lamp and coleslaw that was more mayo than anything. Our waitress dropped off our food and didn’t return for 25 min, I asked for a refill of my pop and it took 10 min. The bill also took ten min to come. Very slow service.
Amazing Patio, Not So Amazing Food. Good place to go for drinks and sit on a patio. Indoors the interior is also really cool, northern lodge style. The food is actually quite awful. The last chicken sandwich I ordered tasted like something I could have slapped together using leftovers. Chicken tasted reheated and wasn’t a full chicken breast, was just a piece cut off of one with sauce brushed over it.
Bad Service. I used to frequent The Moose often, but have found over the last few months that the service has been lacking. I sit in the bar side and there used to be nice girls working in there, but the last few Fridays Ive gotten guy servers, and everyone working seems grumpy and annoyed. Enough so that I dont go there anymore, I go across the street to Fionns where they treat me nice and have way cheaper drinks. Sorry Moose, you messed up. If your staff arent happy, your customers arent either.
Great burger. Place was like an over crowded barn, but their Market burger was fantastic! I’ll definitely be going back. Steak sandwich was pretty good too, I was quite excited to see the steak wasn’t an overdone piece of shoe – it was a nice medium-rare to medium. Despite how crowded the place was when I went, service was still pretty good.
Would visit time and time again. This spot is so awesome, words don’t do it justice. Got to the HUGE front doors and boom this place went from cool to over the top awesome. One of the prettiest spots I’ve ever seen with the most TV’s I think on the planet. Staff were friendly and all over us and the food was incredible. Had a Schnitzel, Fish Tacos and Wings, all were outstanding. My draft (Mill Street) was a tad warm, but the humidity was off the charts so I give them a pass. All and all, a 5 of 5 for this place.
I take ribs and wings very seriously and so does the Moose. Wings were huge and I think double breaded perfection. Ribs are something to write home about…incredibly well done.
