We understand the restaurant was busy and are always patient and reasonable in these situations–tonight however, the service was extremely disappointing–ie..after waiting close to an hour for our table with 4 young children, our waitress, who we maybe saw twice the entire night was really lacking..We were also extremely upset with the lack of sensitivity, discernement and common sense one of the managers demonstrated tonight with regard to a very honest mistake. We understand and realize buisnesses need to be savy and careful, I would never however, as a business owner coach or train my empolyees to handle customers in the manner we were treated..we are genuinely honest and caring people and were sincerely offended tonight–we will not be returning to the Moose.

Moose is an institution. I have been going here since I was born and it continues to be high on the list of restaurant choices for a Friday night. Always packed, fantastic bar, very attentive servers. I cannot say enough good things about this place. However if you are looking for an intimate atmosphere, this place couldn’t be any further from it.
