Wing Night Special. Tuesdays are wing night at 45 cents, not bad. We got great service. The waitress let us sample different sauces before we chose. I like that the minimum order is only 4, so I can order a good number of flavours.Wings were tasty. This was the Newmarket location BTW.
Dissapointing. A quick summary: this place sucks, and I’d rather spend my money at other restaurants in the area.My wife and I finally caved and decided to try this place, and yes, it was bad – very bad. We ordered: a pint of beer, chicken tenders, a poutine, a basket of potato wedges, and a single order of wings.First, it was an unreasonably long wait for our food. Several people near us, who came a good chunk of time later than us, got their food before us. Slightly annoying, but we assumed there was just a little more to our order than theirs.Second, when the food came, some items were lukewarm, others cold. We sent the cold items back with the manager’s help; we would have liked to have sent it with our waitress, but she was missing in action after she quickly dropped off our food. We never saw her again until our bill, about thirty minutes later. The food as a whole tasted like deep fried frozen food. It wasn’t any better than fast food. The fries tasted like sub par McDonald’s. The potato wedges tasted like something from the hot counter at Superstore. The chicken tenders tasted like something you would buy in the frozen food section, then heat up on a baking sheet. The wings were all right, but restaurants in the area, who aren’t branded as a wing joint, do wings much better. We spent about $43 (without tip) on a terrible meal. With The Works, Jack Astors, and many other decent franchise restaurants in the area, I can’t believe this place is still standing.
Best Choice for Game Night or Family Night Out!. Great Food! Great Service! Fantastic Video Screens, Wings are fried but not breaded the original Buffalo Style. Large servings and lots of flavour choices. Lots of dining room and bar table seating. Got seats even during a Saturday Leaf game!Best Family Sports Bar around!
Phenomenal service, very kid-friendly, top-notch bar food. I find eating out often to be pretty expensive and unrewarding in Canada, especially in the suburbs. Pubs and bar/grills always seem to charge a fortune even when you’re just having burgers and wings, and often the food is pretty poor. A lot of places want $7 for a kids meal, are not very clean, and serve sub-standard food. The difference between Canada and the US is remarkable. Fortunately Buffalo Wild Wings seem to be bucking the trend.Buffalo Wild Wings is a great place to have nearby, and we find ourselves going back again and again. The staff are always super-friendly, especially with the kids, and they often go the extra mile. Often there is a promotion of some kind we are able to benefit from. Everything is spotlessly clean. The wings are excellent, and the wraps are pretty good too. The veggies are always freshly cut (as opposed to those dried up ones that have been sitting in a fridge you get sometimes). For $5ish I get 5 good-sized wings. I like mine hot, and I usually have them lightly tossed in the ‘blazin’ sauce. The kids meals are about $4.50 and include a drink (but no dessert). One of the kids’ options is chicken tenders which are all breast meat and very tasty. The burger is fine too.The place is covered with big screen tvs showing every sport imaginable. The kids love the food and the atmosphere. I get to have a beer and some good wings, and I don’t have to go to nasty dives like Swiss Chalet (why do Canadians think Swiss is good?!) / McDonalds / Pizza Hut etc.I’m totally baffled by the other reviews here. I think BWW beats other local wing joints hands-down, especially if you have children. Highly recommended.
Need better Service. Host points to table and tells us to sit over there. Is it to hard to walk us through the empty restaurant and seat us somewhere. Menu tells you all about their wonderful beer selection but on all the menus that are on the table nowhere does it actually tell you what they are. Waitress passes us by 5 times and finally after 10 minutes says hi. No plates, no quality check, no refill of beer, no thank you by anyone as we leave, no coming back! And the food was not good.
Better Boneless. I liked my night at Buffalo Wild Wings. The wings are tasty, but not spectacular. I like the selection and the boneless wings are very meaty. They have an extensive list of sauces, and they’re more customizable than other wing places I’ve been to. The wings are spicier than you expect, even asian zing had quite a bite to it. Overall, not the best wings I’ve ever had but I was satisfied with the unique sauces, bonelessness and meatiness of the wings. The staff was pretty good, although the place did fill up fast.
