The milkshake and strawberry slush with lychee boba was good. But in the taro milk bubble tea, the powder was not dissolved completely. Also the tapioca pearls were really chewy which made it difficult to eat! But the overall set up and environment was very warm.Will go back again with friends and try something else from the menu! 🙂
2019/05/12We were in Newmarket at dinner time and we decided to eat at Crpestar. This is a medium sized table service restaurant with seating for about 50. While they do feature savoury and sweet crpes, there are also other options on their menu. SWBMO chose the Butter Chicken Rice, which was a bed of white rice topped with a very mild butter chicken. I stayed with the crpe section of the menu and ordered the Chipotle Magic Crpe. It was a fresh crpe, folded and filled with some chicken in a chipotle sauce and romaine lettuce, corn, roasted red pepper and mozzarella, served with a small side of kale salad. For me the romaine should not have been there. Otherwise the flavours were pretty good, including the pleasant kick from the chipotle.

The portion was a bit smaller then some other places I tried but nonetheless tasty.The cake are good too. Ranging from $7 a slice. In comparison to Dimitri, I think this place is just as good. The prices are competitive.
It was alright. Their food wasn’t anything special, their waffle batter wasn’t too good, the crepe was a little dry and their set up makes it so that the back tables aren’t seen and don’t get served as fast. They should improve the layout and make it so they change their dishes and presentation to fits its expectations
