My favourite fish and chips place. I go out of my way to come where when I want fish and chips. It’s an old styled place, wrapping your F&C in newspaper still. The batter is just right on the fish and fries taste good. Everything including the battering is done in front of you.
Not a review, just a warning: this place is take-out only.
Don’t get me wrong this is my favourite fish and chip place but a word to the wise: if the old woman is working the counter then steer clear if there is anyone ahead of you. She will do one order at a time from cooking to wrapping before even beginning another order. This is the best old time place though.
