Lovely ambience, great service and delicious food. I will most certainly return! Highly recommended and somewhat undiscovered as yet. Get in there and make it a favourite that will stick around!!
This place should be called BOILED, not BRAISED.. Was it the wafts of sewage smell, the inedible boiled lamb or fat-laden osso buco that drove me to write this? If my Osso Buco was braised, it was only cooked for a very short period of time. The fat was completely unrendered, stringy and bountiful. There was easily twice as much fat as edible meat. the fat was firm and springy. The red wine reduction was more like a tomato paste. The braised lamb was in a thin jus. It’s my guess that the meat was boiled. The taste is difficult to describe, it was horrible. If grey was a flavour, then this lamb tasted grey. The greens were decent, service was friendly, decor was nice/trendy and the wine list was decent. I suspect this place wont stay open long, much like the two restaurants before it.
Wonderful decor excellent food. I was at braised on Saturday night and felt compelled to offer my feedback. My date and I were greeted by friendly staff that greeted us at the door and welcomed us to have a look at the room, which we did. The artwork is breath taking it was like walking through an art gallery. We of course stayed for a bite to eat. I had the braised beef short rib – perfect fall off the bone with a a perfect jus. My date had the mahi mahi also a well done dish.Thanks braised we will be back.

Just ok.. Group of 4, all ordered something different and they all tasted the same. All the dishes were too watery. 3 of the dishes, pork shoulder, rib and osso bucco all had the same garnishings. Even the poutine tasted like the mains. zzzz.GREAT Service though and the 3 cheese dessert was delicious.
Horrible food – good for a drink. This place has a bar like atmosphere and great vibe, but don’t come here for the food which is a total disappointment and not worth the prices.
Unfortunately underwhelmed.. I pass by daily on my way into work and was looking forward to trying Braised. Cute spot, but our group left hungry and disappointed. We ordered pizza when we got home which is frustrating after dropping money on dinner.
