Great sushi place on the Danforth. I will almost always choose this place over a few of the others as the quality and service here is consistently good. Sushi is fresh which is the important thing and their food presentation is very creative.
Loved their food.. we ordered fried calamari, chicken cutlet and sushi platter.. calamari is a must have.. sushi was also good.. ambience was nice also….
Difficult. Called for delivery because our neighbour recommend them. They said it would be an extra 3.00 delivery I said ok. They said they won’t deliver to our area during rush hour, I said ok. It was not rush hour. Gave them my order she said that they wouldn’t deliver because it was under $50.00. They were so difficult, she kept on talking to this guy but in another language, every time she had finished telling the rules! Hope their sushi is excellent because their service sucks!
Poor service. The sushi is good, got to give them that. The service is terrible. I went a couple of times and the last one was last Thursday. We arrived at 9pm and asked what time the restaurant closed because for fast food I go to Mac. The waitress said 11 so we had a lot of time for dinner. We asked to sit outside because it was a warm night. She clearly showed she didn’t like the idea but she said ok. After that, she brought us the sushi and tea and never showed up again to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. We always had to ask for more tea. She came to took our plates and then brought us the bill (!?) It was 10:15 and she didn’t ask if we wanted dessert, coffee or tea…(?!) I’m surprised she didn’t start to clean our table right away! We obviously tipped accordingly and we will not go back….fortunately there are too many sushi restaurants in Toronto and I will not spend my money to have such a bad service…
Excellent Sushi. I am extremely picky with sushi and restaurants that serve it. I don’t find there are too many around the GTA that are as good as this place. Even though I live far from here, I keep coming back because I am sure I will eat fresh, delicious sushi. I recommend this place to everyone. They have a menu with a large selection with various options and everything I’ve had on the menu has been excellent.
Terrible.. Absolutely disgusting pan fried udon. Under cooked noodles, the sauce was overbearingly rich, and the chicken was over cooked. Inedible, I took two bites and sent it back. The waiter was incredibly rude even before I sent it back. Didn’t even bother coming back afterwards. I had to go to them to pay my bill. All this is incredibly disappointing considering I’ve been here several times. Usually the food is good enough that I can put up with the terrible service and rude waiters. The sushi is very sub par. I’d say it compares in quality to sushi you’d get from an all you can eat sushi restaurant. Which is bad. Considering it’s not…I would definitely not recommend this place. Maybe if you’re walking on the Danforth and you’re craving sushi and have no other options. Even then; I’d just get something else… Like a dumpster sandwich, at least that’s garbage you don’t have to pay for.
Wouldn’t Take My Money. Boo.. Called to try and order delivery due to the apparently great reviews on this site and was told that because I am slightly outside of their delivery area, they won’t be able to deliver food to me in less than an hour right now and so they won’t serve me during 6 and 8pm because that’s their policy. It would take literally one or two minutes extra to drive the extra distance to me from their cutoff street; the delivery to the cutoff street would take about five minutes to begin with. It appears they have different delivery areas during slow and peak hours? The excuse seemed kind of half baked to me and was not mentioned anywhere on their Facebook page or on the menu they have posted. Very disappointing!
