We went here for a birthday party. The food and service was good. The highlight was the belly dancing performance. I would go again for it!!
Haven’t tried much except for the salad which was ok- the dressing was different and I think is their own special recipe which is pretty tasty… And literally that’s all I had. They have amazing hospitality and service though! Will have to return to try more menu items
The food was better then the service. We ordered similar dishes at Pan to compare. Tzatziki was good but the others were quite bland. When we ordered our main the server surprised us by stating that my partner’s choice was the way better option and I should change my mind. Now, be it joking or not this comment literally put a bad taste in our mouths. While waiting for the food, we weren’t checked on or asked what drinks we’d like to order. Once the food arrived, our expectations of my partner’s dish was very high because she made such a big deal about it. My lamb dish ended up being far better tasting, which made the overall dining experience poor. We went in with normal level of expectation, it was the server who made unthink their food was incredible to only leave us feeling disappointed. Missed the mark.
It used to be great! Not anymore…. This used to be my family’s favorite Greek restaurant for many years. Consistently amazing. But that has now changed since new owners took over. Although the service was good, the food was terrible, and I mean B-A-D!! Half of the medium-rare beef souvlaki I ordered was charred (what kind of inept cook burns a medium-rare souvlaki?), the beef was very low quality and a much smaller portion. Rice was more like a bad risotto-greasy and gooey. The pre-buttered bread (which is a terrible idea) was always burnt. Definitely not worth the $22 I paid. There were six of us and no one like any of their dishes. Needless to say, bye bye Christina’s, it was nice knowing you, but we’ll never see each other again.
New owner took over on Dec 2014. The new owner that’s taken over as of Dec 2014, has a history of kicking people out of his previous restaurants. First week he took over, he told a few regulars not to return, fired the belly dancers and some of the kitchen staff, and just last night asked me not to return.Other regulars saw what happened, ran outside to talk to me.
Lamb chops were beyond delicious and so was the seafood platter when it came out. But then when we found a plastic clip, likely from the bread the server says, though nothing else to my ask that perhaps the kitchen to be a little more careful. Luckily it wasn’t anything to completely sour the meal as it was tasty, but not impressed with how they handled it at all.
I have been here many times and usually have a great experience (good food, excellent staff) but I ordered the seafood platter for the first time last night and was extremely disappointed- the lobster tasted like it was cooked in mop water: like bleach and metal….didn’t have the energy to send it back, we had ordered too much food anyway, but it was pretty disappointing
