Bought a dozen of cupcakes last week for a family reunion. Cupcakes looked beautiful for display however they were way too dry. The worst part was their horrible customer service which I am sure would push away many of their customers.
Sweet treats. Coconut and salted caramel cupcakes… don’t mind if I do. What a wonderful little shop filled with pretty sweet treats and offering kind service. They make a chocolate peanut butter bar that is also divine.
I ate the whole box!. While visiting Toronto on vacation from Charleston, SC we stumbled across this super cute bakeshop and I fell face first…..in love with these cupcakes!!! They were so fresh and the icing was the perfect amount of sweetness. I highly recommend anyone going in a taking home a box….you won’t be disappointed….plus the shop is so cute and the staff was awesome…y’all need to check this place out!!!!
I travel hundreds of miles for the D&B goods. Living so far away from D&B, I usually leave there with multiple boxes of goodies. One may think that I am hosting a party. No. Just stocking up on the best treats in Southern Ontario. If you haven’t tried the Tricky Bars or Charlie Parkers, do yourself a favour.
Best Cupcakes EVER!!!. I stumbled upon this shop by accident last time I was in Toronto and I was seriously blown away. I travel a lot and I must say hands down D & B are not only the best cupcakes I have had in T.O. but I’d go as far as saying the world. The store was lovely, staff super friendly and truthfully I dont have a bad thing to say about my experience. I will defiantly go back and will tell any friends who visit T.O. to stop in and bring me back some treats.
Best bakeshop ever. Hey Lori, you obviously own the other bakeshop – do you think we are stupid?D&B is the best baskehop ever. All homemade, and fresh, fresh, fresh. The best red velvet cupcakes ever, and the chocolate chip cookies are to die for. And in case you are not getting enough sweetness – an icing shot is available. YUM, YUM, YUM!
Potentially microwaved cupcakes and stale cookies. I’ve had some really good cupcakes there- their earl grey was pretty tasty- but I also had 2 bad experiences there, so I probably won’t go back. Not sure if it was just fluke that I got a super super stale peanut butter cookie once- it was rock hard and the texture was like biting into chalk and had no taste. Maybe it was a mistake that it was put out? But it was certainly not baked that day- and they claim to bake fresh daily. My bad cupcake experience was really strange. I bit into it, and it was warm on the outside, but cold on the inside..almost frozen. So…what does this mean- warm on the outside and cold on the inside? MICROWAVE is my guess. I’m not sure if that is possible…who would ever do that? But I know I’ve microwaved my homemade muffins before that I’ve frozen, and they get warm on the outside first..but can still be frozen on the inside. Anyhow- clearly this cupcake was frozen at sometime…and they put it out to thaw..but it wasn’t ready. Baked fresh my ass.I love Belle and Bobette!!!!!
