Location – Gerrard street. Cuisine – Indian (veg & non-veg)Ambience -* Decor – 3.5 , Patio area is nicely maintained. Inside the restaurant its a bit dark.* Cleanliness – 3* Cutlery – 1. They need to change their cutlery. All of them looks old. For buffet there were no bowls to serve curry.* Seating – 4. Seats & chairs are quite comfortable * Music – 3. They need to put on some lively music.Food ordered & tasted -Veg dinner buffet (salad, pickles, pakora, samosa, potato & eggplant masala, potato & cauliflower, chana curry, palak panner, naan, rice, dal, boondi, gulab jamun, ice cream of 4 flavours – vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mango)4 Sense satisfaction:1. See – Curries looked spicy & it had lots of oil. Gulab jamun looked a bit burnt. 2. Smell – food had the fragrance of indian spices3. Taste – though the curries looked spicy they were quite bland4. Feel – naan were soft. Rice was bit undercooked.Service -Since we had the buffet it was all self service. The staff appeared to be friendly.Total cost -15.99 + tax for dinner buffetOverall experience-It was okish. Nothing great about visiting this restaurant. Recommendation -You can go there once. Twice, I don’t think so.

Pathetic food with arrogant manager. Big NO. Disgusting service. I will never visit it again. The owner of the place won’t listen any feedback

I love the seating with windows on 50% of seating facing South or West. The food is very fresh, and seems to have a small smattering of oil. The spices are pleasent, nice selection of beverages , Beers and more. Difficult to select one dish, the various selection of meat, and vegitarian options appeals to the senses, eyes, nose, tongue and wallet

Bland unseasoned food and be wary of the waiters. We walked by the restaurant, it seemed pretty clean so we gave it a try. We asked the waiter if he could recommend some dishes, we ordered the dishes suggested to us by the waiter but later realised that they were all from the buffet and we ended paying a lot more than if we had just gone with the buffet!! If you like your food spicy then you will be disappointed, the food is bland and not very authentic Indian even their chutneys are sweet! You’ll love the food if you’re new to Indian cuisine and don’t know what to expect.Lastly, we found our waiter to be very curt, impatient and insincere over all. I would not recommend this restaurant to someone enjoys real Indian food.

Also forgot to mention, I am a vegetarian and they serve chicken biryani under the label of veg biryani! So vegetarians, Beware!!10 May, 2014Very bad restaurant in terms of service. Quality is just ok. Went here with 3 other friends and had the Buffet on May 10, 2014. The lamb was not cooked properly and food was completely bland! At the end of it, the bill/check arrived with tip included. We were still quiet. As a group of 4, we wanted to split the bill and I was calculating the amounts, the waiter standing behind me got irritated because I was splitting the bill amongst us. He clearly and offensively expressed his irritation which got me furious! Overall, they don’t really care if you are a customer, they just need the money and can’t wait to add any surcharge they can and make sure you pay immediately. Impatient and no respect. I would never go back!

Severed Chicken Birayani in the name of Veg Birayani. This place the worst I have seen so far in Toronto. Their Buffet is a waste of money, better to eat at Subway. They keep non-veg items in the with a Veg item name tag.Beware of the leftover food. Most of the items on buffet are leftovers.
