Late and lousey, with side of lies. My order took 2 hours to arrive, they said 45 minutes. I called back after 1 hour and 10 minutes to be told it will be at my door in 20 more minutes I said fine and 55 minutes later it arrived. Half the food was good and some was inedible the egg noodles were so hard, and greasy it was ridiculous that no one could eat them $10.50 wasted. I wish I had cancelled the minute they showed that they can’t run a business. it was garbage and on Chinese new year, you’d think they might be ready for an order or two.
Great Find!. It’s always hard to find a good dim sum place outside of Chinatown, but this little gem along the Danforth measures up! Great, friendly service and the food is fresh and tasty! The menu has a fantastic selection of both meats and veggies – all at an affordable cost (great combos too)! I grew up eating dim sum, so I know good chicken feet when I see (eat) it, and this place doesn’t disappoint! I only wished I lived closer so I could dine here on the regular! So, if you are an east ender who craves good dim sum or chinese food in general, check out Ha Gow.
Pretty good service. Dim sum was alright. Very reasonably priced
Awesome!. I’ve had the 8.99 special twice now. Both times great! Second time may have been even better! Great value for ALL the yummy food that you get! Go hungry come away satisfied! Enjoy!
Really good dim sum at a good price. We have ordered take-out dim sum from this restaurant twice now. BBQ pork buns, deep fried shrimp wontons, spring rolls and chicken wings are excellent! Wasn’t too keen on the beef ribs but we just didn’t order them the 2nd time. Overall great food at a really good price!
We found this restaurant on our drive in Toronto. Excellent surprise. Good price. Excellent service. Nice authentic clean freshly made dimsum. Loved it. I do not usually write reviews. This is so goos I feel that it will be unfair to others if I do not write about it. True hidden gem.
Good food, good price. I ordered take out dim sum and the food is good. I’ve been eating dim sum for years in many different cities and the chef who made the dim sum got creative. The dim sum is freshly made, I can tell it’s hand made, the dishes are creative, colorful and taste good. The food arrived hot and fresh. I’m glad there’s finally a dim sum place on the danforth because now I don’t have to go downtown all the time. So for people who like creative, bright, pretty little dishes dim sum at Ha Gow is the place to go. They have a little website called http://www.torontodimsum.com From now on when ever we have the craving for dim sum this is the place we’ll go. P.S Also as a side note I can tell the owner is passionate about his work. I felt like he really valued me as a customer and I liked that.
