Ambiance: Walking in was a huge surprise, as the unassuming exterior was not at all an indication on the vibrancy within. We had a 9:15 last minute reservation on Saturday night. Having been to a couple of restaurants in the area, 9:15 in the east east end generally means a quieter vibe. To me, Lake Inez had just the right amount of noise and vibrancy that I feel a successful evening should sound like- loud enough to count as white noise for you and your dining companions, but not so loud that you are yelling at each other across the table.
