The halal popeyes location and licken chicken is owned by same owner, recently popeyes, recently popeyes has started using machine slaughtered chicken. some people complained if its still halal, so the owner started this new chain. all there chicken is hand slaughtered.
Lickin Chicken Not For Me. The only thing that will be lickin my chicken purchased here are the raccoons in my neighbourhood. The chicken was extremely greasey, dark and had a weird smell in the middle. After smelling it I had to throw it out. I ate piece of the legs and I would have had more excitement chewing on cardboard, it tasted like nothing. Don’t waste your money here. How do they have 4 locations? I can’t see this place lasting more than 6 months.

Omg, was soooo hung over when I came here, I couldn’t really taste a thing. But, the prices are effin cheap, they don’t debate over white and dark meat with your ass, which to me is pivitol. I hate dark meat. If you’re going to complain about chicken that costs a freaking dollar, than u better get your head checked. Go to Popeye’s and order a bucket of 19 chickens only to find one piece of white meat. Give the under dog with competitive prices a bone. Don’t swallow it.you might gag
At least the chicken was good. I shouldn’t assume that customer service is what all businesses are striving for!Tired this place yesterday on the way home way last night and the customer service is about as bad as it gets:No choice of side.Small amount of fries.No pastry.Asked for all dark and got the a breast and tiny leg.Was not asked if I wanted to eat in or get it to go, was just handed my bag.I think I was overcharged but was not given the receipt and could not check.But the chicken itself was good–no doubt about that. It was not good enough that I would ever return or recommend this place.
Not a good experience they did not have anything we ordered. No slaw. No pastry. The mash and nuggets whr old. Bad bad. The only thing good was service
The licken chicken here in thorncliffe park west has a bad service. They dont know what they are doing and washroom doesnt have soap and bathroom tissue.
