I liked this place…went here with a classmate as we are both not feeling well. I got on the side shrimp on a sugar cane (my favorite ), but it wasn’t minced enough and didn’t have the taste I was used to. I had the chicken Pho and she had the rare beef. I don’t like having the darker more chewier side of the chicken…so that kinda disappointed me there and my friend didn’t get nearly enough beef and it came fully cooked where she asked for it to be rare…we know it cooked in the soup but anyway I would definitely go again since it’s closer to school.
Excellent!. I agree with those who claim that Mi Mi’s has the best pho in town. They do. Do yourself a favour and seek out this not very well known GEM, in Toronto’s Gerrard/Broadview area. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but the food is damned good. I try to get takeout from Mi MI’s at least twice a month. It’s a lifesaver.
Best Pho in town. Best pho I’ve had in the city and I’ve tried a lot of places. Food is fresh and reliably good. Besides this, the staff are welcoming, personable and very kind. A must-try if you like Vietnamese.
I go to MiMis weekly and it is delicious good at an affordable price. The family run restaurant has the warmest hospitality and service. Favourite atypical Vietnamese dishes are the Spicy Lemongrass chicken and Curry Chicken soup.
Second time at Mi Mi, proported to be Susur Lee’s favorite pho restaurant, whatever that counts for. Very nice, subtle broth in the pho, if not incredibly fragrant. Notable in my mind for actually having a Small size with accompanying Small price. Many pho places start at medium too. Like the Pork Skin salad roll as an appetizer, sounds unhealthy, but actually low in carbs. Next time I’ll try one of the do-it-yourself wrap platters, looks yummy and I haven’t seen this at other Vietnamese restaurants. Staff speaks Vietnamese and Cantonese.
Do yourself a flavour favor and go here right now. Honestly the best Vietnamese grilled goodness from some of the friendliest people you would ever want to meet. Eaten here over a 100 times and have NEVER been disappointed… For a price that you won’t believe. Great value, great taste, kind service. A bit slow during rush but worth every minute you wait. Do the Pho. It’s out of this world. 47 or 48.
Slowest service in the world! Been waiting over 1/2 hour for a bowl of pho… This is brutal!!
