Excellent experience – ordered food, grabbed a seat – great food and stellar portions. Dined with my buddy who got the beef and mixed veg pide with a thin crust – great choice. I got the beef, spinach and mozzarella – regular crust – served with tomates and onions and a taziki-like dipping sauce. Will definitely go again.
Good Turkish pizza. Good size and well presented. Had the lamb one. Turkish sausage and the non spicy traditional. All where good. You get some hot peppers tomatoes and onion on the side. Also comes with a good garlic dip.
Very good Turkish pizza/pide. Great service, very friendly staff. Tried the lahmacun and kavurmali (lamb/mozzarella pide). Both were tasty and fresh. My friends also had the Turkish sausage and mozzarella pide which they said was also delicious. I have to say though that for me, the food at Pizza Pide on Gerrard is a notch better. I would go back to either. The choice would depend on which location is more convenient as both are a bit out of my way.
Another hidden gem on the Danforth. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but they make delicious Turkish pizzas at a great cost. There are both meat and vegetarian options or both on one.
OH my. Had Turkish pide for the first time here and it’s simply fantastic. The prices are affordable and I was surprised at how big the serving sizes were (to my absolute DELIGHT)! The Turkish tea is also delicious. If you’re ever around the area looking for something casual that’s filling and yummy, you’ve found the right place.
I love Mr. Pide. The last time I was in Toronto , my friend brought me there for breakfast. I wasn’t sure breakfast but it was great I would suggested the number 18 it’s a great mix if middle eastern flavours. I am bring one back to Vancouver and eating one at the airport. I wish there was a Pide in Vancouver
Delicious Turkish pide. This place is amazing. They focus on one kind of Turkish dish — the pide (kind of like Turkish pizza). They have lots of kinds of pide; kusbasi, kavurmali, ispanakli (spinach), kiymali (ground beef), beef chunks (forgot the turkish name for this one), cheese, sosis (sausage), sausage and eggs, and more that I can’t remember. If you like pies, this is a must try.
