Huge thnx to Dave, Judy and the entire staff for a wonderful family reunion prior to our daughter’s wedding! Great food.19 Jan, 2014Outstanding food and a great value, cozy atmosphere in old East York. It’s a little known secret and I shouldn’t be writing this review. Gotta try Judy’s cakes!!
Could be better. This is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant. Staff were very pleasant, the music was low and the decor a delight; the downside was the food which was so salty that my tongue was tingling. My partner and I could not finish our meal and were not prepared to take home a doggy bag. Our server was quite willing to have the meal replaced but we didn’t feel like waiting. Everything on our plate was oversalted and inedible. When I asked if other diners had complained I was told that there had been some complaints but other diners didn’t say anything. Salt can always be added but it can never be removed. I don’t appreciate having to take chances with my health and we won’t be back. Unfortunate, as we thought we had a real find.
Always seems to be closed when we want to go… Regardless of the posted hours of operation
The pastas taste home-made and are well portioned incase you are hungry. The atmosphere is cozy as it is a fairly small place. The price is reasonable and ranges between $15-$25. We will be back!
Delicious food, good portions, excellent service, and a quaint atmosphere. If you get desert, you must try Judy’s cake!!
Great little old school style Ital resto. Mostly pastas on the menu (hence the name) and a few mains. Good value and pleasant service
