This is by far my favorite place for pho in the city. Hidden in East End Chinatown, this little restaurant is a go-to for many in the area. The broth that they make here is amazing and the rice noodles are handmade and delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for no-nonsense, authentic, pho.
A small restaurant that is usually quite busy. The pho is okay here but i usually get the duck and bamboo noodle. I find that although other viet restaurants might have this on the menu, most of the time they dont have it available. I can always count on que ling to have it though. The broth is delicious and there is a generous amount of duck and bamboo. They dont skimp out on the complimentary toppings either.
This place is a hidden gem! The cheapest pho I’ve ever had in the city, and they don’t compromise the flavour. Delicious broth, generous portions of meat in large bowls. I definitely will go back if I’m ever in the area.
Hands down the best pho tai I have ever had – and I’ve been on something of a holy grail search over the last ten years. The slow simmered, strong anise flavour has brought me back once a week for the last two years. I cant imagine a better cure for a heartbreak or a hangover. And as another reviewer noted, the folks who run Que Ling are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. We’re always greeted within 30 seconds with a big smiling hello and a pot of hot tea. There are 40 seats and they are nearly always almost full. A real family and community gathering place in the evening. And the food is great.
Delicious, Friendly, Well-Priced family joint. The broth in the beef pho at Que Ling is unique and by far the most flavourful (even before adding basil or chili) than any other I’ve tried in Toronto, including Rua Vang (which I also love). The prices can’t be beat and the family that runs the place is adorable. If you’re dining later in the evening you’ll often find the kids doing their homework at the table or the dad playing with his kids. It’s a great, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. Best durian shake in the city! Made with fresh Durian, not powder. Not overly sweet – just right! I love the food and the people who run this place are charming.
