I was here around Christmas with the family for dinner. It’s an interesting little place – looks really small on the outside (and it is small but bigger than you think due to the second floor that you don’t see from the frontage). Fixtures inside have an older feel without being rickety. The staff was nice but overall service was a little spotty- it may have been because it was the holidays but they were stretched a little thin and so slower than you might like. The pizza is artisanal- it’s very good but if you have smaller kids who are used to the standard ‘box store’ fare it is a bit of a reach. Bottom line for our group was the adults generally liked it and for the kids it was hit and miss. Complemented by a decent wine and beer selection, I enjoyed it.Cost wise it’s not cheap – $35-40 per person plus tax and tip (and a smaller bar tab); it’s good quality but I’d be inclined to recommend leaving the kids home for this one.

Update: 2017- what happened to the pizza size. It shrank!! Not cool. Far far better than Libretto. I don’t understand how people can rate libretto higher. I’m Italian and go to Italy every year. queen M is far more authentic.

The $30 three course meal is quite nice. We shared the small salami board and the three course meal between two people. The salami board came with a nice variety of meats and cheeses. It is a good portion for 2-3 people. For the appetizer, we had the beef carpaccio which was good.We shared the dominator pizza but gad to pack half of it to go.For dessert, we had the pistachio cheesecake which was delicious. Overall, i think the prix fixe is a good value here!

Disappointing. Service was good. Atmosphere nice. Pizza crust and sauce good but for a $14 pizza, can I please have more of the fior di latte and anchovy. The appetizer of carpaccio should be taken off the menu. It is so easy to get right and for $12 it should have been much better. The calamari were good. My friends wont go back . Wonder if management understands that most people wont complain they just wont go back. I told the server the carpaccio was not good. Not sure that made the impact it should have. If I were manager I would want to know and I would fix it.

Decent pizzas, very good service, and a nice atmosphere, but a bit cramped…But VERY VERY expensive for what you get…we had 3 regular pizzas, 1 beer, and 2 glasses of wine….the bill came to $105 BEFORE tip!!! Won’t be back….

Exquisite pizza, great room, good wine choices and fabulous desert. What else…? Oh yeah, service is excellent. I loved this place! I will be back next time I visit Toronto.

Growing up in an Italian household with a mother that makes killer homemade pizza and other Italian dishes means that I have high expectations…and Queen Margarita deserves the royal title! We took advantage of the prix fixe option ($29 for 1 app, 1 pizza, 1 dessert – worth every penny) and we got to select from some other apps not on that menu, so lots of options to choose from. We had the Italian style wings and arancini to start (sooo good). The wings had just the right amount of spice, and the mushroom arancini was well seasoned and yummy-cheesy-good (other places I’ve had it were dry inside.) The big test was the pizza…and wow!! The Diavola was great and The Dominator was even better! A lot of other pizza places have pizza that is kinda soggy, but here, the pizza was cooked to perfection. Good service as well!
