Expensive But Good. I would rather pay a high price for good food than a low price for bad. If this is the price he has to charge to keep his doors open, ten it is worth it. Well done, friendly but a bit expensive. I’m a regular
So-so place. Its alright but mostly a place living off its traditional reputation and not its actual reality. Last time I went they didn’t include the tartar sauce…what gives?! The real fish an chips champ in Toronto is Harbord Fish n Chips!
Better than most in Toronto. Nice light batter on the fish, but still a lot of oil. The fries are pretty tasty. They need to either make the fish a bit more salty, or better yet provide some sea salt for the fries and fish. The regular table salt doesn’t stick to the fish or fries and just ends up on the bottom of the plate. The batter is nice and light, much better than pub-style batter. It’s almost but not quite as light as the real stuff in London (which is so light it’s practically invisible). I’d say it’s about 70% of the mouthgasm that was authentic fish and chips in London.

Been going to this place for years. My favorite is the salmon. Great food prices are ok! The quality when I went recently was pretty good. I would say it’s one to give a try
