I had been meaning to try this place after it just opened up as there arent any good shawarma places near the danforth. The space inside is small, but very clean, and boasting a very large flatscreen TV on one wall playing sports, with a smaller flatscreen on the opposing wall in the corner playing CP24. The staff is friendly and very attentive. While the menu isn’t very large with quite a limited selection of options, I will say that what I ordered was quite delicious. I had the chicken shawarma plate which came with juicy, flavourful chicken, rice, pickles, salad and a tangy mayo on the side. I also had the Frenzy Fries, something that I feel is the most unique thing on the menu. It’s a sandwich with french fries, coleslaw and a tangy, spicy mayo, pressed into a pita bread on a panini press. While it’s not the healthiest thing I’ve ever eaten, it tasted remarkably good. The price is pretty average, but considering the quality and the portions of food, I’d say it’s pretty reasonable. I’d recommend this place simply to try the Frenzy Fries since it’s so unique.
