Excellent spot. Went in to order some poutine to go since I was having a huge craving and knew there weren’t any reliable burger joints in the neighbourhood, especially ones open late enough. Even though I only wanted food to go, the staff were all really great. They were quick, attentive, and very friendly. I chatted with one of the bartenders and he asked me if I’d like a drink while I waited. I’ve been on a cider kick lately, so I said ‘no’ since I didn’t want to just gulp it and run. I was curious to know what they had available in case I was thinking about going out to a pub. Turns out they have Pommies on tap and they also had a dark cherry cider! He gave me some small samples of both. Great way to pass the time waiting for my order! I will definitely be back for a bigger meal. The Auld Spot, you’ve won me over already!Oh, and the poutine was EXCELLENT.
