Two of us went there last night before a show at the Danforth Music Hall. The service was terrible, not just for us, but for everyone around us. The food was below average. The washroom in the basement smelled strongly like an outhouse, and it permeated into the dining area. I suspect some kind of sewer gas leak. Obviously, we will not go back.
I have come here on several occasions, mostly for pints before a show at the Danforth Music Hall. The service has always been FANTASTIC!!!!! Friendly and quite quick. They are always busy in there and that is a great sign. They have reasonably priced pints ($6.30-$6.50) which is a bonus, since many places in Toronto charge so much more.I ordered the meal sized Greek Salad ($10.95) dressing was fine, and salad itself was ok.We also got 1LB of wings, chipotle sauce. They were ok, too much sauce by the end of it. My partner had a small Caesar salad, the croutons were definitely nothing to write home about, and the dressing was not what was excpected. I will return for drinks but most likely will not eat anything further.
Meh. It was an old pub/dive with a basic menu and a lot of regulars. The prices were good the food was decent (I recommend the club sandwich – comes on a nice baguette and has a full chicken breast). The chicken fingers are terrible but the fries are great. Service is fine but nothing special.
Came here for dinner last night around 7:30. The place was half full. Sat ourselves, 7 minute wait before a server came over to greet us. I ordered a Sapporo which arrived flat. Unappealing menu, very tired and dated decor, faint mildew smell, general grubbiness. Another 20 minutes before we saw the server again. We decided not to stay for dinner, paid for our beers and went down the street to eat instead. Not recommended.
Great, friendly staff. Excellent service. Awesome atmosphere. Everything I’ve tried in the menu has been awesome. I especially love the pulled pork sandwich. There is also a pretty sweet patio. I love this place.
Decent. Good food (good prices), beer is beer and service is usually pretty good.
Best staff anywhere. Surly, friendly, and everyone knows your pour before you order. Love them!
