Best service in the entire neighbourhood and the kitchen will accommodate for the strangest requests – RESPECT!
I like it but…. Went there for lunch today. The Ultimate Roy burger was very good and had a bite of the Roy Bleu that my wife ordered and it was also very good. My problem is with the beer menu. In a place like this, you would expect something a little bit more sophisticated than Blue Light, Creemore, Guiness, Kilkenny or ESB on tap. Ok there is some stuff from Mill St. Brewery but that’s not enough. Not with so many good Ontario beers now on the market.
Great Neighbourhood Place. Good food, good beer, good service… can’t ask for much else in a neighbourhood pub.
What the heck. Irish pub irish food. there were six of us. look closely for gratuity is included, no one mentioned this. I get it when there are large groups but we all paid individually. So now unknowingly and uninformed we were quietly charged an 18% gratuity. Then on top of that not knowing we’ve been charged we tipped 20%. Nearly 50% tip and no one had the balls to tell us gratuity was included. Slimy if ask me
Awful. Food was dry and terrible and the service was outright rude. This place was so bad I felt the need to write my first ever web review. In a neighborhood full of great bars and restaurants, avoid this one… unless you enjoy being laughed at, ridiculed and lectured to by an over-aged bartender with issues who can’t even pull a decent pint. I don’t think I’ve had worse service in the entire GTA. Especially for such lousy food.
I wanted to love this place. I’ve been here 4 times desperate to like it because it’s so close to my house but all 4 times I left irritated. The service was always either slow or had my order all wrong. The most recent time (which will be the last) I went by myself to have a quick bite to eat and a beer at the bar – I was ignored for 10min then asked what I would like by an older gray haired man (a menu and Guinness). The first half of my Guinness was poured (I get that it’s a 2-pour beer) and I was given a menu, then he left the bar. I sat there for 15min waiting for him to come back and pour the rest of my beer while it sat there under the tap and he just kept starting conversations and forgetting about me…so I left. I was there for almost half and hour for nothing.
