Proper pub food at affordable prices. Unpretentious and good pub food. Don’t expect gastronomy here, it’s pub fare not douchy gastropub plain old pub fare. That being said all 3 curries are very good, i particularly enjoyed the SriLankan. I’ve been here 6 or 8 times since it opened and initially I found the food inconsistent but they vastly improved or perhaps more consistency in the kitchen. Good variety of beers on tap and great lunch and daily specials … my only complaints are the selection of house wines (pretty atrocious) and I love the huge garage door/windows at back but please nothing worse then looking at garbage bins and the cooks parked car. Open it and put cruiser tables when weather permits – at the very least keep it clear of garbage and vehicles.
