We were a party of three and we went on a Sunday morning for brunch around noon.There was a waiting time of about 20 minutes but, we agreed to sit on the bar if enough seats became available before; and, so we did…It is a small restaurant and it feels tight (specially, with winter coats all over the place) but, the ambiance is alright (not so sure about a couple of songs that sounded like gospel).We ordered two White Lily Standard breakfasts, one with extra bacon; one Breakfast Sandwich and, a couple of donuts that were very good (cant recall which ones).A guy sitting next to me ordered the Steak n’ Eggs and it was one big piece of meat that looked delicious (maybe next time).The food was good and the portions satisfying although, price-wise, I feel that maybe some items are a bit overpriced…That said, the service was very friendly and we enjoyed our visit.

She made me a Caesar (Mott’s Clamato mix) and while trying to drop in a pickled bean garnish, dropped said bean on the countertop, then coolly picked it up off the countertop and put it in my drink. In front of me. While I sat at the bar, not two feet away from her.I had the English breakfast, which was OK, but not quite there. The sausage was OK but gristly, but the bed of hash browns were really tasteless and gross. Think: bed of shredded, underseasoned potatoes placed on a griddle so the exterior browns while the interior remains completely white and pasty.No plans to return any time soon.
