We dropped by while shopping on Kerr Street and had the puff pastry quiche with spinach in a bechamel sauce. It was different and quite delicious. We also bought four vol au vents and took them home to freeze. We ate them about a week later and they were also quite delicious, very crisp and flaky. We were hoping they made them larger, for a complete meal. We will certainly return.
Allways a pleasure to go. Whenever I’m in the vicinity of Oakville (I live in Toronto), I always make sure I swing by maison delice to pick up some pastries. The staff are friendly and smiling, the place is beautiful and most importantly the sweets are a delight. Highly recomended
A surprise bakery in town!. I noticed Maidon Delices’ sign said they offered North African sweets and I immediately had to check them out. I am already very familiar with Arabic, Moroccan and East Indian deserts and expected something sweet with honey and hopefully nuts. To my delight and surprise, all their North African sweets look like little artistic creations and are made with almonds. Some are even gluten free! Many people comment on how these sweets are too beautiful to eat but I say go for it! Having one makes you feel very special in that moment in time. They are uplifting after a hard day’s work and are the talk of the party when you bring them to an event. These deserts are hard to find and, for me, it’s like having a little ‘gem’ bakery right in town!
