One of my all-time favourite restaurants – have been going with my family for almost 5 years! I;ve tried almost all the entrees, but my favourite (and last dish I tried) was the steak dinner. Wow, didn’t think I could eat steak without a knife, it was so tender… i’ll be going back just for that.
One of my all time favourite restaurants.. Went to Mye 2 yesterday and it was also delicious. Mye Original also has something unique about it, maybe because it’s a older and more established. Sashimi was outstanding!
Sushi is fresh and the service is attentive. Noticeable difference between the typical all-you-can-eat sushi but not large enough for me to convert. It’s good, but didn’t live up to the hype for me to choose this a la carte restaurant over an all-you-can-eat one next time I’m craving sushi.
Authentic Japanese in Oakville. Dined at Mye with a big group for an office party, service was attentive, but slow, likely because they were busy. Fish is very fresh, so I would recommend sashimi!YUM:- Tuna carpaccio- Sashimi (they only serve fresh fish)- Mushroom mushroom mushroom appetizer- Sukiyaki- Mye 7-course dinnerOK:- Tori Nanban- Spicy salmon rollLove: all the cute sake cups on display!
Amazing sushi. Always packed, so make reservations. If I had one complaint, it’s that they keep the restaurant too warm.
Wow where do I start? First off if your not a regular customer don’t bother going. You will be treated poorly. The service just plain sucks. You have to ask for everything. More Sake, more tea, more water. The servers spend all their time chatting up their friends. The owner walks around dressed like Sushi Chef, is in fact a Very qualified Sushi Chef. But just walks around like a Dork watching his Employees give crappy service but not willing to get his hands dirty anymore. Never ever returning to this place.
Overpriced and not even that good! Also the service was abysmal.
