Great Irish Stew. The Guinness was great, as always. Loved the French Onion soup and the Caesar salad but the croutons could have been better – they were a little dry and lacking flavours. The smoked salmon potato skins were a little under smoked – the potato dominated the salmon completely. The Irish stew was incredible – not buried under a floury gravy as many versions of this dish are. Fish and chips were great and the service was very good.

New menu. It had been at least a year since I had eaten there, and I went back recently. I was pleasantly surprised with the new pared down menu. It was cleaner and less cluttered with items that weren’t exactly pub fare. The new higher prices however, were a bit of a shock. The ambiance is still very comfortable and our server was very attentive, friendly and professional. For a weekend, it was not terribly busy, which made for easy conversation.I ordered the side salad of farm greens and the smoked chicken mac and cheese. The salad was a decent size, perfect for a starter or with a main. However it was dressed too early and overly so. The balsamic vinaigrette was not completely mixed because most of the balsamic ended up at the bottom of the bowl. The greens themselves were good, though a bit wilted from the dressing. I would recommend having the dressing on the side. The mac and cheese was very hearty and filling, good portion size but not worth the $17.95. A salad should be included for that price. I was disappointed in the lack of double smoked bacon that was advertised in the description, I couldn’t detect any bacon flavour or find any pieces. The chicken was there but only had two or three small bits. Still, it was delicious and would recommend if you are looking for some comfort food on a cold winter day. Will go back.

Loved it, great atmosphere and food was very good. It was a bit pricier but mostly well worth it. Nachos could’ve been bigger but they were very tasty. My friends got the burgers and they seemed small for the price. But I went with the roti and was very happy. Absolutely delicious.

Very Good. Nov 3/10We had a table for seven in a small room off the main bar area it was perfect for the kids. The service provided by Alex was great she was very helpful with all our meals. The food was fabulous, large portions. Will be back for sure.
