A friend recommended the Stoney’s omelette for breakfast. I have a mushroom allergy and they were very accommodating. They had gluten green accommodations and large portions. We had lovely service. I hope to go again.

We went there on Sunday for lunch. We had the grilled veggie sandwich (with BBQ sauce instead of the aioli since we are avoiding eggs right now) and the mushroom pizza. First thing first, we had to pay and tip first, which was weird to me in terms of tipping before you were even served. We had to get our own drinks and napkins and the waiter didn’t come and ask if the food was good, so not sure what the tip was for actually. Paying ahead did speeded things up to get a table though, so I suggest leave the tip at the table instead of paying before the meal. At the cash, I said we were not eating eggs, so if there were options for the sauces and she said we mostly have aioli and then gave us an avocado salsa which was 3$. Finally my husband asked if they had a BBQ sauce and she said yes we can do that! I would suggest they provide the actual list of sauces that are available before they provide an overpriced salsa! Then the food came and I was expecting really good food, but it was okay. The pizza was a tad bit salty. The crust and the tomato base were fabulous but the mushrooms were not the star of the show. They advertised shiitake mushrooms but there were none on the pizza. The portions for the pizza definitely were big and we took home a few slices. The sandwich was huge. The bread was really nice and fresh but it crumbled in your hands as you tried to eat it. This is definitely not the type of sandwich you can eat and talk with because by the time you get to the second half, the bottom half was soaked half way and your hands were a huge mess along with your face. There was flavour for sure but two dimensional flavour. Nothing that popped and nothing that would make me go back again, other than to try their breakfast. The service and the asking for the tip before even sitting down, and for a lack lustre food performance especially after the review hype is what is making me rate this so low. I’m hoping that other food might taste better, but for us… it wasn’t worth the money. Also, from a vegetarian options perspective, there weren’t many.. if you eat eggs, then the Sunday brunch would include a few more things you could eat.

Great experience here. The ambiance is awesome, food is high quality, and service is good as well. Staff are all extremely friendly. Food is very flavourful – I really like the brunch options here and the sandwiches. The sandwiches are huge by the way but VERY good!
