Been to this place a couple of times now, always a great experience! I always split the sushi boat with one of my brothers and never been disappointed. I have also tried the vegetable spring roll and calamari, both were great. The owner is also very friendly and kind, my card was once declined and he reassured me not to worry, that I can just pay the next time I visited…I was in shock and immediately returned that day, however it still so nice to see kind and trusting people!
Best sushi value around. Great service, great tasting sushi, great prices. New go to sushi place. The chef was extremely kind, funny, and really cared about his art.
Our favorite Japanese restaurant. We especially enjoy the udon soup. All the maki rolls are great, the kids love the dynamite roll. We go about once a month and they are very friendly
Food was frozen, service took forever. My family and I decided to try this place out a few days ago. It was a Wednesday night so we didn’t expect to have to wait very long for food, unfortunately, food took FOREVER. Our appetizers took at least 30 minutes and then it was another 40-45 minutes for our main courses to come. While we were waiting for our food, we noticed that all the food was kept in the little freezer that they had and that the chefs just defrosted it in the microwave. Not exactly my idea of gourmet Japanese food. Also, the spring rolls that we ordered as our appetizer was good but had WAY too much pepper that it overpowered the entire roll. I will say that the sushi was good and fresh, definitely the best thing we ordered. Everything else was okay and nothing had any WOW factor. There were three other tables there and one couple just got up and left because the service took so long that they couldn’t wait any longer. Wasabi Teriyaki also does takeout and we noticed that the takeout took a very long time as the people waiting for their food were just sitting across from us on the chairs.
I was looking for a new place with my family and i found the best place in ny opinion in Oakville. Its small but the service and staff were awesome. The food was fresh and delicious. Will go back for sure.
Outstanding Oakville Sushi. When I have a craving for sushi there is only one place that comes to mind, Wasabi Teriyaki. I honestly feel blessed to have such an amazing gem in my town. The atmosphere, owners and staff are very tremendously kind and generous! They really do take pride in their art and put heaps of love into everything they serve. The pricing, quality and portions cannot be beat! I repeat, the pricing, quality and portions cannot be beat! I often dine in and order take out, and the quality is always consistent and on point! I’ve ordered take out sushi at many, many places and sometimes it feels that not as much love is put into the takeout compared to dine ins as often the attention is focused on the customers dining in. At Wasabi Terriyaki, this is not the case! If you order take out, they time each menu item perfectly (ex. tempura shrimp) cooked just as you arrive so that when you get home its still fresh and crispy! I’ve introduced many family members and friends to this great spot since I’ve discovered it, and with no suprise they have all fallen in love with their sushi. They all became instant regulars. Treat yourself and treat your loved ones by letting them experience the joys of Wasabi Terriyaki!
No better place to have sushi!. Amble sushi on top no fillers free spring rolls great service a treat for sushi lovers that wont break the bank!
