Absolutely worst restaurant I have ever been to. Went with my family for lunch, it was empty other than about 5 other tables and it still took 15 minutes just to get a cup of water, 10 min to get our bread that was supposed to be with our meal but took too long. We ordered the mussels which were WAY overcooked, i have never seen such small and rubbery mussels, better to buy them from nofrills. Ordered a martini and mojito which tasted like a cup of sugar. Had a garden salad which was just soaked in oil and not even edible. The seafood pizza was like a frozen pizza from metro. Ordered the clam chowder soup and they did not even WASH THE BOWL before serving us, you could see chunks of old dried food on the plate which is absolutely disgusting and apauling we could not even believe it. We also got the fish tacos which were just salad some deep fried fish and tomatos and soaked in the sauce, i could have made a better taco myself. Our waitress was horrible, taking 20 minuites each time we asked for something and we had to leave our table and chase her down because she continuously forgot about us and our order. Overall the service was horrible, all our food was cold, prices were way too high for what we got, do not waste your time coming here you would be better off going to McDonald’s. Worst food i have ever had im sure a 10 year old could cook better, this place has ruined restaurants for us for a while. Absolutely apauling, not even worth 1 star, really hope this place closes down as soon as possible!!!!

Came in for lunch and was very impressed with the food. I think this is more of a dinner place as it was pretty empty for lunch but had the lobster bisque which was excellent and the steak sandwich which was very good too. I will be coming back.

Changed ownership few months ago, it was quite empty on Friday night. The menu is bit price although the portion seems generous, the halibut fish and chips were overcooked.

Will Never Return!. My husband and I had come here with a friend on a Thursday evening at around 7:30 pm. When we walked-in, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the first floor of the restaurant was empty, while the upper floor had about five or six tables with individuals. Once we were seated in a booth by the window, we were given menus by our server right-away.After we had browsed the menus for a few minutes, our server came by and asked if we were ready to order. We hadnt enough time to look at the menus therefore, we asked her to give us a few more minutes. We then decided on the Walkers Burger for myself, the Lamb Chops, 3 oz. Lobster Tail, and Three Scallops for our friend, and the Walkers Fish Trio for my husband. When I ordered the burger, I asked the server to make sure that it was well-done as I like my burgers to be cooked well-done.When our server came by to take our orders, she asked if we would like to have bread to start the meal off. Since we were quite hungry by that point, we agreed, eagerly awaiting for the bread to arrive. In the meantime, our glasses of water arrived about five minutes after we had ordered them.We had to wait at least fifteen minutes for a small cone of three pieces of bread with butter to arrive. The bread was delicious however, they were much too small, with us finishing them within two minutes. We were puzzled as to why it took so long for the bread to arrive, when the restaurant wasnt even full.Once we had finished our first round of bread, our meals still hadnt arrived therefore, when our server came around to collect the small cone which had the bread inside, she asked if we wanted another cone of bread. We all agreed as we were still hungry at that point. Once again, the second cone of bread took at least ten minutes to arrive. It seemed pointless that bread would take so long to arrive when it was so simple to prepare, and it wasnt busy at all!We had delved into the second cone of bread, and was hoping for our meals to arrive as we were starving and sick of eating only bread. From the time that we had ordered, we had to wait about 35 minutes for our meals to arrive. Wow, Ive never waited that long at any restaurant for any food, EVER! We were not too pleased when our meals finally arrived as the wait was much too long.I had ordered the Walkers Burger, which came with a side-order of fries. When I bit into the burger, the burger was red in several areas. I was sorely disappointed as I had waited so long to receive it, only to receive it undercooked. My server was nowhere in sight in order to report this therefore, I had to call over another server that seemed to be making more of an appearance in the dining room then our own server. I told her about the burger, and she took it away quickly, saying that she would have another one made. Our server then came out and said they will make you another one. Thanks for letting me know a little too late, and for not even apologizing about the incident! Anyways, I had hoped that the second burger would be out faster but nevertheless, I had to wait another FIFTEEN minutes for the burger to be prepared. At that point, my husband and our friend ended up eating their meals as the items were getting cold.I was getting restless with the wait therefore, when I saw our server, I told her that if they didnt start on the burger to not worry about it as we were practically finished our meals. She then said it would be coming up shortly. I had to wait another ten minutes from that point to receive it. Wow, all of this for a burger! When the burger FINALLY came, I cut it open and noticed that yet again, it wasnt fully cooked on the edges. I told the server whom came out, and all she said was oh, sorry. I barely ate the burger as it was dry and not cooked-well. Plus, by that time, it was almost 9:00 pm and eating a burger at that time didnt sit well with me. I was very disappointed with the burger and service that I had received, not to mention the wait time, ridiculous and unacceptable! When it was time to pay for our bill, we told them right away that we would need the machine as we didnt want to wait another fifteen minutes for the machine to arrive. The total amount came to $99.21, with the burger being removed from the bill (which was good of them to do). We were astonished at how much money this place ended up costing us, and the food was scarcely enough to keep us full. Will NEVER be returning to this establishment. Its an overpriced restaurant that serves their guests undercooked food and makes them wait much too long to enjoy a dinner out. I would never recommend this place to anyone; try another restaurant that is much cheaper and will give you better service and cooked food!

Okay not great. I don’t think I’ll make the 20 minute drive to get there again. The service was good but the food was just okay. I ordered the stuffed salmon and it was very overcooked and the stuffing was also dry and overcooked and there wasn’t that much of it. In fact, the stuffing was so overcooked that I couldn’t detect that crab was used. The stuffing could have been anything. The 6 oz portion was accompanied with roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables. The meal seemed overpriced ($29+) for what I got.

I have had 100 percent better service at jack Astors! They should train their staff there first.11 Dec, 2013Horrible Manager! We ordered a bottle of wine that was 70 dollars and terrible. When we said we didn’t like it we were told that we had to pay for it. It was organic and had nothing in the menu that showed that. We explained this to the manager and he took our bottle to the KITCHEN and said the sommelier said it was fine and we had to pay for it. We were absolutely astonished. I have never heard of a restaurant behaving this way! We were so upset we sent a letter to the head office. They sent us a card that basically said too bad. By the way, we ordered another bottle of wine and paid for BOTH even though we left the organic crap bottle on the table. I hope they go out of business.

Terrible Experience – Avoid the Place. On September 2 our family visited Walkers Fishmarket on 2575 Dundas Street in Mississauga. This has been the worst experience in years. We had to wait for our order for a very long time, the order was brought in such a way that one person would get everything all at once whereas everybody else (3 more people) did not get anything, even an ordered salad. When the wait was just unbearable we complained to the General Manager, Chris Wilson, who clearly was not very keen on taking our concerns into any consideration. After a while we finally got the rest of the order (the first person has finished his meal by that time), and the way the order was put on the table was so unprofessional that a very hot plate was handed over by the waitress into the hands of our daughter, which caused her fingers to be burned. Moreover, the General Manager (or the waitress for that matter) never even bothered to check with us to see if everything was all right. When we asked for a check, we again had to wait for an extremely long period of time. The check itself was messed up, and the waitress could not explain it. We had to go back to Chris Wilson demanding an opportunity to pay and leave the restaurant. The General Manager who was practically unapologetic, was literally laughing into my face. The whole staff, including the General Manager, were very unprofessional, food was mediocre and not served right. We visited this restaurant before, and the overall level of service and food went downhill over the last year. Certainly a place to avoid now.
