I’ve visited this place a lot, mainly for their banh mi sandwiches. Decent sized sandwiches for a very good price. There are places with slightly better prices in the little Chinatown on Dundas, but I prefer the sandwiches here, and the location is much more convenient for me. I’m not a huge bubble tea fan, but I had a grape tea once and it was pretty good. If you want a quick bite for a good price this is a good little spot.
The bubble tea here was crazy good! So I tried a lychee bubble tea with jelly and tapioca, and it came to about $6.50 plus tax. It had some sort of a cream base which is not something that we were expecting, but surprisingly it tasted even better than the ice blend ones. Overall I would recommend this place, however they do not accept credit cards, so keep that in mind.
I ordered the vegetarian banh mi and absolutely detested it. The peanut sauce lacked flavour, and there were slabs of butter and deep fried batter from the tofu dispersed in my banh mi. That being said, the baguette was well done and impressive. My family loved their respective orders. I came here a second time with my mother shortly afterward, and although I didn’t order this time, I had to bite of her assorted cold cut option. Very flavourful and well worth its value! Would definitely order this next time.
Bubble tea was delicious and they actually had fresh fruit options. The shrimp spring rolls we had for appetizers were average. The Banh Mi chicken sub was actually very tasty and was only $3. My husband had the beef pho which he mentioned was a little salty. Not much ambiance inside/limited seating, but great value for what you get.
Best bubble tea hands down (lychee flavored tea) and I love their banh mi sandwiches. My boyfriend and I go there at least once a week and the couple who own it are so nice.
Great Bubble Tea and Vietnamese Food!. This is my favourite take-out for bubble tea, bahn mi and noodle bowl (vermicelli with pork meatballs, spring roll and veggies). Food is delicious and reasonably priced. I tried the Pho once and was not impressed but will buy my favourites regularly!
I really like the bubble tea here! Better than bubble republic for a much more reasonable price, I would recommend anyone to stop by and try.
