The details: a Northern Chinese specialty restaurant tucked away in a strip mall The good: food is a 9.5/10, the flavor is bang on for northern style Chinese cuisine ( which is amazing). Steamed dumplings are great but their dishes are also very good. Service is very good, attentive and available- what you should expect from a family Chinese restaurantThe bad: the restaurant and decor are a bit dated and the seat cushions are slightly ripped.Advice to owners: fix the seats and paint the walls of the restaurant ! Dont change any of the food ( its amazing )Will I return ? Definitely 100%
I came to the Chinese Dumpling House with friends after work. We ordered three appetizers, a basket of steamed pork dumplings and green onion pancake. The dumpling was very dry on the outside, the green onion pancake was by far the best dish for tonight.
Went here for a Father’s Day lunch and ordered the following: beef noodle soup, scallion pancake, beef pancake, and 15 pork and cabbage dumplings. The beef noodle was quite bland and lacking in taste, but I thoroughly enjoyed the dumplings. At only $7, the dumplings were well worth their value! The pancakes were both greatly delicious as well, though fairly oily. Would come again!
